for the SunShine MonkeyShine's

Monkey Presentations

Thank you for your interest in our unique shows. Please call and we will be happy to discuss your entertainment needs and answer your individual questions, as well as give you a customized quote for your event. For shows that are out of the local area, a travel fee will be added to all of the rates. Our rates have not changed for many years because we want people who are interested in our monkey presentations to be able to have us.

*****(Special Note) Jesse and I both know that we could set up a one price rate but we feel that this would not be in keeping with the type of business that we have offered for 25 years. We wish to have flexibility in our quotes due to people's individual needs and where they need us to drive to. Thank you in advance for understanding why there are not any rates on this page.

Mary Lynn's shows are now presented in the Tennessee area - mostly around Knoxville. Jesse's presentations are presented in many different areas because he travels in many other areas for his professional dirt bike business. Please do not hesitate to call and get more information about the areas that we go to.

MEET & GREET

This is a wonderful way to surprise someone special on their birthday, Valentine's, Christmas, graduation, etc. Our monkeys will come to your chosen place, to celebrate with your special person. This can take the place of a dancer or a singing telegram. We go to offices, restaurants, wherever you might need to send a very big surprise. Send them a "REAL-LIVE-MONKEY-VISIT!" This unique gift will be remembered forever. The visitation time is 20-30 minutes, depending upon the setting in which the monkey presentation is taking place. MINI STAGE SHOW

This is our most requested presentation. The "Mini Stage Show" is a wonderful way of creating a warm and friendly time for everyone present. Birthday celebrations, retirement parties, wedding receptions, office parties, church gatherings, Bible school events, whatever you might dream up, The SunShine MonkeyShines presentation will be the prefect addition. Everyone gets to be part of the show! The "Mini Stage Show" lasts from 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the number of guests. SCHOOL SHOWS

We love to go to schools. "Education Through Entertainment" is our motto, and we love to visit with the students. School presentations, parties, scouting groups, fund raisers, honor roll parties, end of the year gatherings, holiday parties, whatever the occasion might be, it is a perfect time for learning with a fun twist. The School Shows last 30-45 minutes. SPECIAL EVENTS

SunShine MonkeyShines does a wide range of "Special Events" such as festivals and fairs, fund raisers and bazaars. Anything that you can plan or imagine becomes spectacular with the little stars of SunShine MonkeyShines. The Special Event Shows usually last 30-45 minutes. After each show, we like to offer "up-close and personal time." This special "meeting and greeting" is a big hit. Please remember that show packages for several-day-events are available and can be negotiated with a simple phone call! (check out our books that we offer for sale at the bottom of the page.

CORPORATE EVENTS

SunShine MonkeyShines can work with your event planning staff to present a completely different and exciting surprise for your employees. Company picnics and holiday celebrations are always lots of fun for everyone! Make your corporate event even more enjoyable and entertaining by adding this exciting presentation. The Corporate Event Shows are stage shows which last for 30-45 minutes. We also offer meeting and greeting time after the presentation. Please call for pricing. TV/VIDEO, PRINT & MOVIE SET PERFORMANCES

This is one of the newest types of entertainment that will be offered from SunShine MonkeyShines with Jesse and his “monkey companions” Louie, and Leroy. They are all three seasoned performers and are constantly gaining new skills from one TV/Video Production after another. These boys are a very talented duo!

ORGAN GRINDER AND THE ORGAN GRINDER'S MONKEY

Many years ago there were trained monkeys performing the lost art of Organ Grinding with their owners. This type of presentations were seen mostly on the street of New York and some of the larger cities across the United States. This lost art form which started in Egypt has been passed down to Jesse Moore and he is now considered a fourth generation Organ Grinder and is offering this type of performance to be added to his portfolio for his TV/Video, Print and Movie Productions. This type of presentation of course is only performed for limited time and in the best possible conditions for the monkeys.

“The Little Monkey Rascals”

(An Overview of the Book)

Hi, I am Mary Lynn, the monkey lady, of SunShine MonkeyShines and the author o f this book. The little monkey characters that I have written about are the monkeys, which have been in my life for the past 25 years. Andrew, (my late star performing monkey) always had an attitude problem. I pulled from the different behaviors and personalities of my monkeys, in order to weave a human type experience with them in their troupe.

Andrew, the leader of the Monkey Rascals, has an attitude problem from time to time. He learns he must look within himself, and do what we all must do when we have the same type of problem. He learns that he must choose again!

This series of books have a “Little Rascals” type of story line, but with monkeys. It takes place in the rain forest in South America around the Amazon River.

The monkeys form a club and then start to build a clubhouse. They are having a real monkey experience in the forest, because they are experiencing encounters with hawks, jaguars, and of course parents, and even boyfriends, and girlfriends!

The book is a way to introduce children to learning more about healthy thinking skills. There are many situations in the stories when attitude problems occur within the troupe. The reader learns many ways to become aware about the real issues behind these problems.There are several interactive endings throughout the books in order for the children to think about what choice they would like to see Andrew make when he is confronted with his problems.

The adult readers who have read these stories seem to especially love them too. Some have said, “Only a monkey caregiver could have written such an entertaining book about a troupe of monkeys living in the rain forest.”

About the Illustrations

Bob Childers, who in real life is my very artistic husband, created the cover and the illustrations in the first book, “Andrew and His Attitude.” He selected actual photos of monkeys who have been in and around our lives, and then created from them the wonderful cover and illustrations. The seedpod that Andrew is holding on the cover of the book is actually one we have from the rain forest, too

About The Star Of The Book

Writing the book has been a wonderful healing experience for me. Andrew was truly a very unusual character, and we truly did live with him and his attitude problems for almost 17 years. We hope you and your loved ones really enjoy the story about him and his friends in the forest. He was a Wedge-capped Capuchin Monkey and he loved to show people how talented he was at riding his Harley Davidson Scooter. He knew he was the star of the show as you can see in this treasured photo of him.

About The Photo

*Andrew Jackson Campbell* was 15 years old in this photo. As you can see from this photograph, he was sporting his "Attitude" while he was enjoying riding his Harley Davidson. He would ride as long as I had the energy to stay with him.
